Project Description:

This project was my first interior design studio and focused on community engagement and user experience. Birdland Cafe was designed to seamlessly integrate into clients’ daily lives while welcoming a wide range of users in downtown Baton Rouge. An open seating layout encourages collaboration and social interaction, while a balanced warm and cool color palette promotes comfort and relaxation. Inspired by Louisiana’s jazz culture, brass accents and local artwork celebrate music, community, and inclusivity.
